If you’re looking for great hiking, you found it! Many of our guests choose not to leave the property and find enough hiking right out the front door, here on our mountain. We have an extensive network of trails that make for fun family hikes, challenging morning jogs, and even superb snow shoeing in the right season. The most popular hike for our guests is to the Seldom Seen Falls.
In general the North-West corner of North Carolina is a hiker’s paradise. The family-friendly Elk Knob State Park is right next door to us, and there is awesome hiking on nearby Grandfather Mountain, Roan Mountain, and the Mount Rogers area (Grayson Highlands State Park), all within an hour’s drive.
